Titoli di Studio
Bernardo D'Ippolito was born in Taranto on October 21st 1965. He graduated at the University of Rome, La Sapienza, where he got a Master Degree in Architectural on 1990. His Master Thesis related to the "Recovery plan of the Trastevere Pontific Arsenal", and it was published. He chartered as Architect in 1990, second session of exam, and he joined to the Institution of Architects of Taranto, on 6th of September 1991. Afterwards, he come back to his home town, where he started his project in order to found later Kino Workshop.

Kino was founded on 2002, initially it was a workshop of architectural design, however, later it expanded its commercial and design targets, focusing on a work path which is mainly related to the light. In fact, the light is considered the fourth dimension of the Architectural. Kino promotes and advertises some selections of ideas and proposals, for young professionals and students, in order to give them shape. These are transformed into a useful contribute to the research about energy preservation, under the umbrella of sustainability and integration. Therefore, Kino is a workshop which test experimental alternative energies and domotic systems, in order to disseminate its knowledge, by emphasizing how useful customized solutions can be.

Oraganization of the event "Ai Margini 2007": ecosustainable architecture in southern regions. The event relates to the sustainability and sensorial issues of the architectural design. In particular, it focuses on peripheral degraded areas. The event comprised: 3 conferences, 1 workshop, 3 fairs and 3 collateral events. Among the guests: Arch. Maurice Nio, Arch. Paola Viganó, Arch. Eri Goshen, Arch. Marco Brizzi, Arch. Alessandro Rogora, Arch. Ennio De Crescenzo.

Participation to the competition "DuPont Corian negli spazi pubblici", for the use of Corian to create single pieces of furniture or modular for public areas, shops, banks, bar, restaurants, etc. The results were presented on 23 and 24 October 2004 at the former Teatini monastery, Lecce and on 28 and 29 of November 2004 at the Vecchio Mulino Hotel, Monopoli, Bari.
