A light for the "Croce" di Taranto

While the roundabout of the cross with its underpass, for which the action is proposed, is insignificant in the architectural value, it is not at all negligible for urban location. This area, located north-west of the stone bridge is characterized by the placement of structures in different vocations. Coming from highway 100, opposite the sea, before entering the city there are industrial areas, and the former Agip refinery-plant Italsider, current Ilva. A layer of red iron covers trees, buildings, facilities for the transport of materials. The underpass is the element that regulates the transition from production to the urban reality. The car encounters a signal, a "welcome" pink, then go back up and the sky-line of Taranto rises gradually. The intent is to illuminate the steep side of the section placed just below the roundabout, using high-efficiency LED lamps of great dramatic effect and dynamic, but low energy. Its location will have absolute respect for traffic, then the optics will be pointed at different angles to the slope, without upsetting car drivers, accompanying them to the next reading of the city skyline.
