Useful information is gained by careful analysis of the environment in which the project will be developed; this way light can be harmoniously balanced by focusing on the differentiation between time and space. The projects are then developed in state of the art compliance with the latest laws and regulations, but without losing sight of the importance of cost control management. High quality lighting design satisfies both the technical and aesthetic needs of a complex grid of criteria.

External screens can contribute to reducing the amount of radiated solar heat passing through windows, thus allowing a significant saving on the energy requirement for cooling by air conditioning. Common double-glazed fixtures, although not as attractive as low emission or solar control glass, can mount light-filtering screens: these will give excellent energy and economic balance to buildings by reducing the room temperature raised by direct sunlight.
Energy Saving

We use advanced materials with special thermal insulating features that translate into energy savings. These savings can be improved further by using radiant-type heating/cooling systems, which are far more efficient when compared to traditional ones currently available.

We feel it is also important that the materials used have a low environmental impact, and such a requistite becomes critical when we consider the life cycle of a product, from the raw material extraction to the manufacturing, transport, usage, and its final disposal or recycling.
Safety

Safety is not only "security", that is to say personal security against intruders or burglars, but also global domocile safety against gas leaks, fire, flooding or other dangerous events.

When an alarm is activated local signalling and response protocols are initiated. The home automation system remotely signals the event and requests intervention via data transmission devices (telephone line, GSM or UMTS cell phone, radio-relay, internet).

CCTVs or IP cameras will allow the viewing of images recorded in different points of the house or garden on specific screens. These video recordings can also be made constantly visible to authorized people by means of a remote internet connection, or, if the alarm goes off, they can automatically receive images via email.
Climate Control

By climate control we mean the creation of space that provides ideal conditions for the human body, and in which a thermoregulatory system can make the necessary automatic adjustments that will ensure a comfortable environment.

The use of designed-to-requirement systems like Aria Primaria, or a ventilation system aimed at providing the fresh air needed within the building, will contribute to the achievement of such an objective
Noise Analysis

Noise can be described as an invasive sound capable of disturbing the thought process, speech and more generally the execution of daily domestic or working activities that require concentration. We are continually exposed to ever increasing sources and levels of noise, which means we need to analyse and measure what can be done to combat noise pollution.

Noise heard within buildings, however, does not only come from the outside but also from activity within the near environment: corridors, staircases and open space areas. The simple use of common items can be particularly annoying: lifts, heater and ventilator systems, bathrooms and bathroom appliances can all be fastidious if the space is not supported by well thought through design.
Sensory

Architecture must consider and incorporate sensory stimuli if it is to change the perception of the space that surrounds us. Well-studied architectural elements can become extensions of the human senses, as if to create a new dimension in sensory and psychological experience. These factors will encourage the occupants of a well conceived environment to adopt attitudes or to feel sensations they would not normally experience in a neutral or bland space.

These non-material elements, light, smell, touch, sound, can be defined as architectural "material", because they are able to define a space and to change it, to confer and modify meaning, and thus become tangible message carriers.
